Caring, fun, happy.

My son attends Grasshoppers and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It's tricky choosing a nursery as a first time parent, no one gives you a checklist of what go look out for or questions to ask. Go with your instinct was what I was advised and loved the feel of Grasshoppers, its warm, vibrant, friendly and the children clearly were happy and confident.

My son has moved from the baby rooms so we've experienced the transition and it has all been handled really well with my son having cross over days to ease this.

Everything is included from lunch and nappies to toothbrushes and generic medicines. They economise where they can to make their fees as reasonable as possible which includes using Lidl nappies which do a fine job but use others if the child has an allergy. All food is cooked fresh on site and the menus are wonderful, as parents we're always jealous of what he eats!

Activities are varied and they have a garden which is used everyday as long as the weather allows with plenty of toys. They also grow veg and fruit which the children are involved with and eat the results.

There is good communication with the staff and nursery generally with a newsletter giving updates about their work.

I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery but realise parents and guardians choose nurseries for different reasons and such an important decision will be subjective, emotive and based on many factors.
